Thank you very much for setting this up sista! This is great! I think we all need encouragement to reach our goals, which is why I need to continue to check this blog! We need to motivate each other and I know there is nothing we can't do. I have some pretty lofty ones for 2007 so I guess it is even harder to forget about if they are in writing so here goes:
In 2007, I will start flying again. My husband and I can start to take vacations and get the needed R&R we have been missing for the past years! I will also start to train for a half marathon in Jan 2008. It has been a very hard start to this year as my work project has me working 12-14 hour days but I will get started soon. I ran on the treadmill yesterday and I am SORE!!! A good sore though. I know that it will only be a matter of time before I am in shape and ready for that challege.

I am so proud of you Kathy! Keep up the training, because you WILL feel better soon. You have really given yourself plenty of time to get conditioned for the Half Marathon. This is the best way to do it because you can gradually work yourself up to it, instead of cramming it into a very short period of time like I did. I burned myself out as a result. I'll be keeping an eye out for your training. YOU GO GIRL!

I know I have always been active so it might not seem like a big deal but I signed up for another triathlon. It is rated the hardest in the country. So Kathy, I will be suffering right along with you. I hope this leaves a comfortable feeling inside knowing you are not the only one and we can do it together. Anyway, I am very proud of you and Michelle for even taking on such a task. Good luck and Michelle, when you not burnt out anymore, let's talk sprint triathlon!
